"Unlike some other boards, this ASRock FM2A85X Extreme6 uses slightly thinner IO designs in order to fit in a ClearCMOS button.  The downside of this is that for the USB 3.0 slots on the left, any large and bulky USB devices may not fit properly if a DVI-D cable is being used at the same time.  We have seen this before on other ASRock models."

MSI FM2-A85XA-G65 http://www.mbreview.com/component/content/article/1-web-news-and-reviews/2831-msi-fm2-a85xa-g65.html http://www.mbreview.com/component/content/article/1-web-news-and-reviews/2831-msi-fm2-a85xa-g65.html MSI FM2-A85XA-G65 @ Anandtech

"Given that the MSI logo is blue, blue is bound to feature, and the FM2-A85XA-G65 takes the black and blue very seriously, with everything except the SATA ports using this color scheme – it goes fairly well given the relatively tidy PCB not being covered in silver transistors or traces like some other manufacturers’ products."

"For $130 the Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4 is pushing the upper limits in terms of Trinity motherboard pricing, but with the PowIRStage IR3550s being used to increase stability while decreasing power dissipation, it is clear to see why."

"MSI launched another "Big Bang" mainboard, this time for Intel's socket LGA1155 using the Z77 chipset. The Z77 MPOWER offers a clean layout, support for three videocards (CrossFire / SLI), eight USB 3.0 ports, WiFi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth (3.0+HS). And this motherboard has been certified to overclock a Core i7 (Ivy Bridge) at stable 4.60 GHz."

"So yeah, I kind of have mixed feeling about this board, it performs better than its competitor but it cost at least 100$ more than the cheaper Z77A-G41. So if you want the best of the best go for the Mpower but if you want a good board with stable performance the G41 might be something to look into."

"Gigabyte has launched 21 different motherboard models based on the Intel Z77 chipset; we list the differences between them in the tables below.
