..:: SiSoftware SANDRA ::..

Overall for SiSoftware's SANDRA, we see some sizable performance gains over the previous generation of Core processors. The i5-2500K is, in many cases, just as fast if not faster than the i7-870 of old. The memory bandwidth has increased quite well on the new Sandy Bridge processors, as we were expecting. The L3 cache latency times also show a nice improvement over legacy Core processors. The AES scores are, of course, superior on the Sandy Bridge processors as they feature the AES-NI instructions, unlike the i5-750 and i7-870. An impressive start thus far.
