Intel 6xx & 3.73GHz Pentium 4 - Page 10

..:: PriBench (64-Bit) ::..

PriBench is one example of the many benchmarks out there that need to be ported over to offer full support of the 64-bit capabilities of these new 32/64 processors. In the above results, we see virtually identical scores put up between both the 32-bit and 64-bit tests, as we would expect given that this benchmark was originally coded for a 32-bit OS. Thus far, the performance of the EM64T under compatibility mode has been right in line with regular IA-32 results.

..:: MemBench (64-Bit) ::..

As was seen with the SiSoft SANDRA results, we again see virtually no change in memory bandwidth between the 32-bit and 64-bit operating environments. The 64-bit results are once again ever so slightly below the results obtained in a purely 32-bit environment. The difference in bandwidth scores between 32-bit and 64-bit are also within the margin of error, so we’ll cal this benchmark even. This benchmark does not currently take advantage of the 64-bit capabilities.
