The first Intel brand motherboard we too a look at was the D845PEBT2 “Blue Mountain” board based off of the i845PE chipset. The D845PEBT2 offered some impressive performance, a great feature set, and even brought with it some new overclocking and memory tweaking options. Since the D875PBZ “Bonanza” motherboard will be taking over for the D845PEBT2 in the high performance arena, it too brings along many of the same features, and more considering it is based off of the i875P chipset. One thing that Intel motherboards have always been known for is their incredible stability. We saw this in our D845PEBT2 review, and throughout our initial testing of the D875PBZ. Before we take a better look at the board itself, let’s first take a look at the specifications for the retail version of the D875PBZ.
