"Today that changes as we have two H67 based boards on our test bench. The subjects of our review today are the H67H2-M Black Deluxe and H67H2-I which are two boards from the m-ATX and mini ITX product families at ECS. We will be running each through a selection of synthetic and real world tests, including Blu-Ray 3D and GPU computing to see how they compare to the reference Intel board."
"You want to use Intel's new Sandy Bridge CPUs including their graphics core? Then you'll have to buy a mainboard based on Intel's chipset H67. While Intel's own DH67BL is quite cheap and pretty basic, the ECS H67H2-M offers a lot more features for a few more bucks. Both motherboards use a micro ATX design and both offer SATA 6 Gb/s as well as USB 3.0. But only one of these is worth buying..."
"The H67H2-M Black motherboard from ECS is the most equipped from their H67 chipset series and incorporates technologies like USB 3.0, EZ Charger and Dual Gigabit LAN with teaming support. The board supports only Intel HD Graphics overclocking, the CPU overclocking by multiplier is locked and the memory frequency is limited at 1333MHz."
"The ECS H67H2-M Black Deluxe motherboard is a very solid board all the way through. Its performance rivaled that of the Intel P67 Burrage motherboard and at times outperformed it. We expected performance to suffer a bit while the on-board graphics were being used but that was not the case. Intel and ECS have done a brilliant job of sorting out the usability of this system..."
"Today sees us taking a look at the H67H2-M Black Series board, which packs all of the top features for a H67 board with support for the latest generation Intel processors, a reasonable amount of expansion slots, SATA 3 and two USB 3.0 ports. Among these features, ECS also claim top build quality with all solid capacitors and 15μ gold contacts for better protection and durability."
"The ECS H67H2-M motherboard is about your needs and requirements, do you need something small and affordable and can live without additional PCI slots? Well, combined with the right processor the sky is the limit as with the ECS H67H2-M motherboard you'll build one seriously fine performance PC, with a product only 24x24cm in size."
"Today we are looking at a roundup of five different H67 motherboards from ASUS, ASRock, ECS and Gigabyte. Remember there's no overclocking here, but if you want something still powerful but less expensive, then this may be the course for you. Each of these motherboards are promising in their own right, but not all are created equal."
"On the review bench today PCSTATS tests the ECS H67H2-M Black Edition microATX motherboard, built on the Intel H67 B3-stepping chipset and supporting socket LGA1155 Intel 2nd Generation Core i3/i5/i7 2xxx-series 32nm Sandy Bridge processors. The Intel H67 chipset makes it possible to output HD video content via HDMI or Display Port to a big screen HDTV, or hook up dual LCD displays over Analog VGA and DVI monitor connections."
