"In an evermore crowded media center market, it is surprising to see products that still offer unique features and feature sets. The ECS HDC-I is unique because it has nearly all the features you would want in a media motherboard. The most interesting inclusion was that of an integrated Bluetooth dongle. This allows you to use Bluetooth wireless mice or keyboards and allows you to sync with your phone, if you so chose."

"The HDC-I Fusion Board from ECS has a lot of connectivity options right from the factory: Bluetooth, WiFi, one eSATA 6GB/s along with 4 SATA III ports; two USB 3.0 ports are also offered. The "Turbo" option can be enabled in the BIOS and gives the system quite a noticeable boost."

"Considering its $129 price tag, it is definitely awesome to get integrated Bluetooth and WiFi. The latter, if not used, leaves room for another mini-PCIe device, be it full-length or half-length. Supporting the new mSATA standard is also a plus. Furthermore, it has the ability to thermally control two fans, one of which is 3-pin and the other 4-pin. Having eight USB ports at the back, including two 3.0, is probably more than the average, too."

"We concluded that the ECS HDC-I motherboard is a great choice for multimedia and entertainment PCs, as well as for Home Theater PCs (HTPCs). It brings a powerful (of course, considering its cost and power consumption) CPU for general web surfing, multimedia watching and entertainment purposes."
