ECS HDC-I E350

ECS HDC-I E350 @ PureOC

“AMD has been working for some time, a vision now reality called FUSION. The product is an embedded processor with an on-die GPU and the motherboard we’re looking at is labeled the ECS HDC-I.   It’s a mini-ITX motherboard with AMD’s embedded processor E350 code named Zacate. We will look at the performance, potential and value of the motherboard/APU combo.”

ZOTAC Z68-ITX WiFi

ZOTAC Z68-ITX WiFi @ TechPowerUp

“ZOTAC recently announced their mini-ITX Z68 motherboard. Supporting standard desktop parts for expansion, the ZOTAC Z68-ITX WiFi offers all the features of the Intel Z68 chipset, including some decent overclocking. We put the Z68-ITX WiFi through the paces, and take this little roadster for a wild ZOTAC ride.”

ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z

ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z @ Guru3D

“ASUS took the Z68 chipset and plastered it into a cute tiny motherboard. Then the ROG team did their magic on it and badabing-badaboom the Maximus IV Gene-Z we test today was born. Armed with the latest gadgets, some ROG lovin’ and that Z68 chipset will most definitely surprise you.”

MSI A75MA-G55

MSI A75MA-G55 @ Hardware Secrets

“So far, MSI has released two motherboard models based on the AMD A75 chipset for the new AMD A-Series of CPUs with integrated graphics chip (“APUs”), the A75A-G35, an ATX model that isn’t sold in the US yet, and the A75MA-G55, a microATX model that is sold for USD 110 in the US. Let’s take a look at the A75MA-G55 model.”

ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z (Intel Z68)

ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z (Intel Z68) @ TweakTown

“Today we look at the latest power mATX board from ASUS in the form of the Maximus IV Gene-Z. At first glance it looks like it does everything a user would want in a performance mATX board. Looks can be deceiving, though. Just because it can walk the walk, can it talk the talk? Well, we intend to find out today, but before we get into the fun stuff like overclocking and benchmarking, we have to first start off with the package.”

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX vs ECS A990FXM-A

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX vs ECS A990FXM-A @ TBreak

“The new AMD 9-series chipsets brings with it the long awaited octa-core CPU support. These new AM3+ motherboards will support any AMD processor all the way till the good old Athlon processors of yore. With the 9-series chipsets, AMD brings support for SATA III (6gbps), PCI 2.0 2×16 lanes or 4×8 lanes, and up to 14 USB 2.0 connections. You will notice that USB 3.0 is sorely missing native support, but then that issue is moot because most motherboard manufacturers will just use a Marvell chip to control that.”

ECS A75F-A

ECS A75F-A @ Hardware Secrets

“So far, ECS has announced three motherboard models based on the AMD A75 chipset for the new AMD A-Series of CPUs with integrated graphics chip (“APUs”), the A75F-A, a full ATX model, and the A75F-M and the A75F-M2, which are microATX models. Let’s take a look at the full ATX model.”

ECS HDC-I

ECS HDC-I @ OC Club

“In an evermore crowded media center market, it is surprising to see products that still offer unique features and feature sets. The ECS HDC-I is unique because it has nearly all the features you would want in a media motherboard. The most interesting inclusion was that of an integrated Bluetooth dongle. This allows you to use Bluetooth wireless mice or keyboards and allows you to sync with your phone, if you so chose.”

Sapphire Pure Platinum A75 (AMD A75)

Sapphire Pure Platinum A75 (AMD A75) @ TweakTown

“So, the question is, can the Pure Platinum A75 stand out a bit more than the P67 board we looked at? The odds look good at the moment with having looked at only a few A75 boards. What worries me the most, though, is that while Sapphire did well with the X58 board we looked at, that was an old chipset. When it came to the newer P67, the performance wasn’t as strong and it’s a concern that after getting comfortable with a chipset they can create a good board, but at the launch of a new one they can’t be as strong.”

ASUS P67 Sabertooth

ASUS P67 Sabertooth @ Bjorn3D

“The P67 chipset might have been replaced by the Z68, but it still offers more than enough in the way of features and performance. As with all other P67 boards, overclocking is an integral part of the ASUS P67 Sabertooth. Unlike newer Z68 boards, this P67 does not have any onboard graphics options, but for most gamers and enthusiasts, that is not a big problem.”
