ASRock B550M Steel Legend

One of those motherboards which we will be reviewing, is the B550M Steel Legend. It comes in a micro ATX form factor and supports all of the latest AMD processors, including the Matisse refresh. So with that said, I’m sure that the B550M Steel Legend is already an interesting option for gamers and performance users alike.

ASRock X570 Creator

The exterior package is striking and aesthetically pleasing. However, the way this board is packed inside the box isn’t like anything I’ve seen. It’s been a very long time since I reviewed an ASRock motherboard, so perhaps this is more normal for this brand. It isn’t for any others I’ve seen.

ASRock B550 Taichi

ASRock has done the unexpected with the B550 TAICHI and produced a better motherboard, from a technically inferior chipset. Not only is this an objectively more capable motherboard than the X570 TAICHI, it does so at a price few if any others can match. For whatever reason, when it comes to bang for buck, ASRock is putting out strong offerings at every turn, and the B550 TAICHI is one such example.

You get a pair of heatsink covered M.2 slots, an e-key M.2 slot for an optional Wi-Fi card, a front USB Type-C header and a good helping of RGB onboard, plus an additional two RGB headers and two ARGB headers.

ASRock B550 Taichi

The ASRock B550 Taichi — and other B550 boards priced close to $300 — are in a peculiar space. While the B550 Taichi looks the part and is, by most accounts, a premium motherboard, it still isn’t X570. But if you are willing to shell out $300 for a B550 motherboard, the Taichi has that high-end look, performs well, and brings enough features to stand with its peers.

ASRock Z490 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB3

AsRock are one of the finest brands out there, and they’ve created many of the best looking and more feature-packed motherboards for several generations now. Premium, mini-ITX, Phantom, flagship, these are all words that roughly translate to expensive.
