ASRock Z690 PG Riptide – El Chapuzas Informatico

With some delay, we finally reviewed a Z690 motherboard that supports DDR4 memory and it is none other than the ASRock Z690 PG Riptide . It is an entry-level model to the new Intel Alder Lake platform that has technical improvements such as the PCIe 5.0 x16 slot , although it is satisfied with 2 M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots and adjusts the rest of the features to the maximum.

In any case, the extras are very clear. The manual and the support DVD are almost mandatory, although we would like to see a USB stick as with the current MSI mainboards. The obligatory TUF certificate and various TUF gaming stickers are also included. In addition, however, there are also two SATA cables and two M.2 spacers including screws and two M.2 rubber spacers in the box. If you opt for the WiFi version, you will of course also get a WiFi antenna.

ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 – itndaily

ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WIFI D4 is a powerful and functional motherboard with nice bonuses (we mean the updated Wi-Fi module and the presence of a PCI-E x4 connector), but with an impressive baggage of optimization problems. These are difficulties with overclocking memory, and a periodically flickering screen when starting a PC, and mediocre work of automation, which usually saves user time in the process of setting up / overclocking the system. We believe that the developers will solve these issues with the help of the latest firmware.
