As mentioned above, audio is using the ALC4080 chipset from Realtek, LAN connectivity is now using the Intel suite; i225 for 2.5Gbe and AX201 for WiFi6. Expansion includes three PCIe x16 slots. The aesthetics of this AORUS B660 AORUS MASTER DDR4 has not changed much compared to the LGA 1200 generation, or at least not as much as it has with the Z690. It is something normal for being a board with a mid-range chipset, always using a standard ATX format .
The heatsinks do seem to have increased in size as they cover more area of the board. Always using right angles for a robust look and combining gray and black. And starting from the top half , we have a strong dual-block passive system to take care of the VRM, in this case with separate blocks using high-performance thermal pads.
