MSI Creator X299

The MSI Creator X299 will certainly speak up directly when it comes to “full hut”. The HEDT mainboards are generally not badly equipped, but the Creator actually goes one better and makes use of the innovations that the new CPUs have brought with them. This means USB 3.2 Gen2x2, WiFi 6, 10G LAN and Thunderbolt 3.

ASRock Z490 PG Velocita

Modeled around the elegance and aerodynamic nature of a fast car with edgy lines, ASRock is no stranger to the ‘motherboard as a hypercar’ concept. The company used to run a line of ‘OC Formula’ high-end yellow motherboards with a number of high-end features for overclocking including OLED panels and a waterproof coating.

HP V8 DDR4-3600 MHz CL18 1x8GB

The HP V8 kit I have for testing today is one of their mid-spec kits: 8 GB (1x 8 GB) 3600 MHz at 18-20-20-40 timings and 1.35 V. 3600 MHz has become the new gold standard for Ryzen builds, driving new focus into memory kits targeting a previously obscure specification. COLORFUL CVN Z490 GAMING PRO V20

In this review, we will review one of the new Colorful panels, which is the Colorful CVN Z490 Gaming Pro, which comes at a price of $ 180. Simply the board is in a medium price range for the Z490 chipset, and it is the only chip that provides overclocking support with K processors and overclocking memory as well, so it is one of your options if you are going overclocking for sure.

ASUS PRIME Z490-A

The recommended $ 230 is more, and decent, than the average “ward temperature” of the Z490 motherboard market. And this is immediately a strong ideological blow to Prime. Yes, there are still little things to throw, finishing up to $ 240, and there are several ASUS ROG models at once, not to mention powerful offers in the assortment of MSI, Gigabyte and ASRock, and more exotic motherboard manufacturers.

ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity

It won’t beat the Founders Edition out of the box, and with its very, very small overclock you will get pretty close to the RTX 3080 FE performance. But, the ZOTAC custom GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity runs 8C cooler at stock settings (72C versus 79C) and has a triple-fan setup that won’t blow hot air up into your CPU (like the RTX 3080 FE does, if you didn’t want that).

The highly-anticipated drive was tucked away in a display case in Samsung’s massive booth on the show floor, but other than the branding, some early expected performance data, and the fact that drive had a native PCIe 4.0 interface, details were scant. All that changes today, though. We’ve gotten our hands on a couple of shiny, new Samsung SSD 980 Pro drives – in 250GB and 1TB flavors – and are finally able to give you the full scoop…

ASRock Z490 AQUA

The AQUA line from ASRock is the brand’s “halo” product. Featuring everything except the kitchen sink, including a full-coverage mono block for custom water cooling and even a limited run serial number. This limited production board was first introduced for X570, with a run of 999 motherboards. Now, ASRock is back at it with another 999 board run on Z490 with the ASRock Z490 AQUA.
