ASUS M4A785D-M PRO

ASUS M4A785D-M PRO @ Motherboards-Reviews

“There is a maximum of 16 Gigs DDR2 1200(O.C.)/1066*/800/667 memory, but the AMD CPU’s cannot handle 1066MHZ memory or higher in dual channel mode, the frequency will be lowered to 800MHZ if you use two dimms, you’ll have to use one dimm per channel to achieve 1200/1066MHZ. To get the full potential from DDR2 1200 you’ll have to use the blue dimm slots.”

Intel Pentium E6300 2.80 GHz

Intel Pentium E6300 2.80 GHz @ TechPowerUp!

“Intel continues to upgrade their processor lineup with the Pentium E6300. It offers a high stock frequency at 2.80 GHz and improved memory bandwidth due to increased FSB to 1066 MHz, this makes this processor a formidable opponent but the question remains. Can it do any damage to AMD’s triple core Athlon II X3 Series?”

OCZ PC3-12800 OCZ3X1600LV4GK

OCZ PC3-12800 OCZ3X1600LV4GK  @ OC Club

“At the 1750Mhz maximum speed, I could run the modules at the same 8-8-8 latencies. This set of OCZ modules allowed me to go as tight as 7-7-7 at 1622MHz, so you can get a small bump in system feel and performance. The price point of $142, which these modules will be offered at, is higher than most of the currently available sets of i5/i7 P55 specific memory kits by between $15 and $35.”

ASUS P7P55D Premium

ASUS P7P55D Premium @ Motherboards.org

“This board is ASUS’s most feature-rich P55 Express board with all of the features that came with the ASUS P7P55D Deluxe board but adding the new SATA 6 Gb/second interface, making it the board of choice for those wanting the most features on a new motherboard with this chipset. ASUS has really gone the extra mile with their performance, overclocking, and the inclusion of the TurboV Remote which is a great feature allowing tweaking of the board without going into the BIOS.”

Gigabyte P55-UD6 P55 Lynnfield Motherboard

Gigabyte P55-UD6 P55 Lynnfield Motherboard @ PC Perspective

“This board’s overclocking achievements were some of the best we’ve been able to produce out of any P55 board we’ve currently tested. While the overall voltage settings seem to be on par for the needs of experienced overclockers, we did notice some stability issues with the DRAM’s timings and power configurations.”

Intel DP55KG P55 LGA1156

Intel DP55KG P55 LGA1156 @ Benchmark Reviews

“Benchmark Reviews had the opportunity to review and launch two new Lynnfield processors from Intel: the Core i5-750 and the Core i7-870. While these were the stars of the launch, it wouldn’t be a complete platform without the motherboard. Released in parallel with the two processors, is the Intel P55 Express Chipset. In this review, we’ll examine the new chipset in detail and take a closer look at Intel’s flagship DP55KG Extreme Series Motherboard.”

Gigabyte P55-UD6 & P55M-UD4

Gigabyte P55-UD6 & P55M-UD4 @ Neoseeker

“Gigabyte offers a broad range of P55 motherboards, including the P55M-UD4 and P55-UD6. The former is a performance oriented microATX board, which packs a bunch of interesting features in a smaller form factor. The latter is their current high-end offering with an impressive 24-phase power delivery system and six DDR3 slots, just like you would find on a X58 motherboard. Both boards support Gigabyte’s proprietary Smart6 feature, CrossFire and SLI technologies as well as DDR3 memory at over 2 GHz.”

DFI LANParty DK P55-T3eH9

DFI LANParty DK P55-T3eH9 @ TweakTown

“So, what of the P55? DFI has finally released its own P55 based board. This is the LANParty DK P55-T3eH9; a board that could possibly allow you to push a Core i5 or Core i7 800 to its maximum potential. The new DK P55-T3eH9 offers many of DFI’s trademark features like Digital PWM, Sintered HeatPipes, CMOS Reloaded and of course their Genie BIOS.”

Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6: P55 vs X58

Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6: P55 vs X58 @ Benchmark Reviews

“The consumer might not know what to expect when choosing between the two products, other than one is mainstream (P55) and the other is for extreme enthusiasts (X58). In this article, Benchmark Reviews directly compares the Intel Core i7-860 equipped Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6 motherboard against the GA-EX58-UD4P with Intel Core i7-920.”
