“There is a maximum of 16 Gigs DDR2 1200(O.C.)/1066*/800/667 memory, but the AMD CPU’s cannot handle 1066MHZ memory or higher in dual channel mode, the frequency will be lowered to 800MHZ if you use two dimms, you’ll have to use one dimm per channel to achieve 1200/1066MHZ. To get the full potential from DDR2 1200 you’ll have to use the blue dimm slots.”
