ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XII EXTREME

The Maximus XII Extreme is coated mostly in black, with a prominent white strip that runs diagonally from the rear I/O panel to the chipset heatsink. This line stands out more after you power up the board; doing so activates a line of RGB LEDs that runs parallel to it. You’ll also spot another string of RGB LEDs tracing down the right side of the board.

GIGABYTE Z370N WIFI

Their new Z370 Mini-ITX motherboard offers dual M.2 slots, dual Gbit LAN, WIFI, and even special features such as HDMI 3.0. The motherboard also features a new color theme; full RGB LED support and even an M.2 heat sink. ASUS Not Supporting Ryzen 5000 Series on X470?

While AMD noted that the 5000 Series processors should be supported by the legacy X470 chipset, it would appear ASUS may not be on board. There are a few articles floating around where a customer reached out and was informed by ASUS that they would not be supporting the 5000 Series on X470, and of course, told the customer to purchase a new board. One can hope this customer last approach is corrected, but only time will tell.

MSI MPG B550I GAMING EDGE WIFI

The MSI MPG B550I Gaming Edge WiFi is a mini-ITX motherboard based on the AMD B550 chipset that can serve as the basis for a gaming or work system using the most recent processors and graphics cards, as well as solid state drives with PCIe 4.0 interface. Sounds tempting, doesn’t it? Even somehow too good. But fact is fact – and now we will be convinced of it!

MSI MEG Z490I UNIFY

The MEG UNIFY is relatively new to the MSI motherboard lineup and was first introduced when MSI first released the X570 UNIFY. According to the enthusiast community, the UNIFY boards are pretty much a stripped-down version of the feature-rich GODLIKE and ACE that has equivalent power design to the high-end tier boards, which is a very good deal for those who only want the performance and don’t really need the extra premium fancy features.

MSI MEG Z490I UNIFY

The MSI MEG Z490i Unify is a tiny Mini-ITX motherboard. And in case you didn’t know, basing a new PC build on a Mini-ITX board comes with some fairly obvious compromises. A single 16-lane PCI-E port is a given for instance. You’d better not bank on lots of storage connectivity or multiple M.2 slots. Two memory DIMMs is your lot. You get the idea.

Razer Announces ASRock Built “Razer Edition” AM4 Motherboard

At Razercon 2020, Razer announced their first “Razer Edition” motherboards with ASRock, bringing further into the custom PC market than ever before. Stranger still is the fact that Razer appears to have no plans to release Intel-based Razer Edition motherboards at this time. Razer is backing Ryzen.

With ASRock as their motherboard partner, Razer’s “Razer Edition” motherboards will feature similar specifications to today’s Taichi series motherboards. Razer plans to release X570 and B550 motherboard designs, supporting Razer Chroma RGB and support for a range of other addressable RGB components.
