Asus ROG Strix B660-I Gaming WiFi is designed for gamers who want to build not so much a powerful as a compact PC and therefore are looking for a mini-ITX format solution. It is based on the budget chipset B660, but, however, this does not prevent it from working even with top-end Intel Core processors of the 12th generation. The board has 13 USB ports, including 1 fast USB 3.2 Gen2, as well as one of the fastest USB 3.2 Gen2×2 as a Type-C port on the back, plus 6 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. Slot for expansion cards, of course, only one, but PCIe 5.0 x16.

For this rather big amount, ASUS ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming Wi-Fi offers a 16 + 1-phase “power supply” on 70-amp assemblies, a not too plentiful package with an eye to the price tag, DDR5 memory slots, a suitable audio path with an operational amplifier , an extremely convenient video card reset button, and of course this and that, 5-10. As we have already indicated, the B660 chipset does not allow overclocking processors, even non-K. Also, and even if the bios allows to indicate a ratio different from the original one, it is only applied on a single heart. We tested with our i6-12600K, on the P-Core side, the maximum ratio is 49. But whatever happens, the frequency is stuck at 4500 MHz for the P-Core and 3400 MHz for the E-Core.

The MSI MEG Z690 ACE supports the twelfth generation Intel processors using the LGA 1700 socket. The board boasts a 22-phase (19+1+2) VRMS to handle the power requirements of the flagship 24-thread Intel Core i9-12900K.
