ASRock has really seemed to go all out with this motherboard, if you look at all of ASRock’s current Taichi boards this is definitely the best looking out of the bunch and really stands out. ASRock has loaded this board with some pretty awesome RGB lighting and a large heatsink that covers the entire bottom half of the board.

AMD X570 Motherboard Overview

Among the biggest additions to AMD’s AM4 platform is the introduction of PCIe 4.0 support, courtesy of the new X570 chipset. X570 marks the first consumer motherboard chipset to feature native PCIe 4.0 – which can double the bandwidth available for everything from SSDs to video cards, offering the opportunity to improve performance when these peripherals get bus-bottlenecked.

ASRock X570 Taichi

It’s not all show and no go though. The “XXL Aluminium Alloy” VRM heatsink and heatpipe combo offer big cooling performance for the motherboards overclocking abilities. There’s an impressive 14 Power Phase setup under there, running a bank of 60A power chokes, with an 8+4 12v power delivery. Not the most extreme we’ve seen, but it’s certainly enough to class it as enthusiast overclocking ready.

ASRock H310M-G/M.2

ASRock’s Micro-ATX H310M-G/M.2 motherboard doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, although few motherboard model names do. But this roughly $120 (£71) board is a well-rounded –though not perfect– solution for Intel-based builders who don’t plan on overclocking and are looking to save some money over a Z390 alternative.
