ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO (WI-FI)

With the recent launch of the 2nd generation AMD Ryzen CPU’s, it’s to be expected motherboards would get a revamp as well. Besides the new chipset, the beloved Crosshair Hero has undergone some significant tweaking, some aesthetic and functional, and some less obvious but very important. ASUS ROG STRIX H370-F GAMING

Intel released its new H370 chipset, along with H310 and B360, in early April 2018. H370 logically replaces H270 and comes with a respectable standard specification to target mid-range desktop users. The graffiti style text on the southbridge heatsink gives an iridescent effect, changing colour depending on the angle of light hitting it.

ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING

Equipped with an 8+2 VRM, and a set of chunky heatsinks, the X470-F should have some decent overclocking potential. OF course, with armored PCIe slots, dual M.2, AURA RGB and much more, it ticks off all the features one would expect from a premium gaming motherboard. If that wasn’t enough, a built-in rear I/O guard, USB 3.1 support and more certainly sweeten the deal.
