ASUS ROG STRIX X299-XE GAMING

They had the ROG Stix X299-XE Gaming and I figured I should get it in and see just how it compares to all of the other X299 boards we have had in. I knew it fits the dimensions needed for the Case Labs case but is it going to be what I need otherwise? Well, I’m going to take a closer look at its features and then test it to see how it performs. ASUS PRIME X299-DELUXE

The Prime X299-Deluxe we are looking at here happens to be the flagship in the ‘consumer’ X299 lineup, separate to the Republic of Gamers brand which focuses more on gaming functionality. The idea is that the non-gaming line has fewer of the gaming focused features, and might exhibit other appropriate features that a mainstream consumer is interested in.

ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO

As an ROG board, you can bet that ASUS AURA lighting support is built-in for use with ASUS and compatible RGB accessories. The back side of the package shows a visual of the board and list the specifications on the back, along with some basic info on the USB 3.1 front panel socket on the PCB, the Aura lighting, all-new SupremeFX audio codec, and 3D printing accessory mounts.
