ASUS TUF GAMING B660M-E D4 – Professional Review

We already have several TUF B660 boards reviewed, and this Asus TUF Gaming B660M-E D4 model will be the lowest ranked among them. However, it represents an opportunity for users with a tight budget to have a board with M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots in a compact format and with the option of adding a Wi-Fi card when there is a slot. It goes down a step in terms of performance compared to the B660M-PLUS, with less powerful VRM and connectivity cuts, but its price drops to around €150.

Asus TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4 is a gaming solution from the middle line of the company, but the price tag of such models was too high even before the February events. ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z690 EXTREME – Overclockers Russia

Overclocking exists for this, to buy cheaply and how to get the performance of a more expensive device, or not? Unfortunately, everything has changed a long time ago and now they even start doing business on this. Indeed, in order to overclock the Intel processor now, you need to buy a modification with the letter “K”, otherwise the manufacturer does not approve. Even the processor itself does not guarantee anything. You also need a board, memory, and, in general, just all the most expensive hardware to squeeze out 200 MHz.

Initially they seemed to exist solely to be installed into non-standard cases. Anyone who was around the internet back in the day will remember people having systems build in to their Millenium Falcon, or an old army ammo box, really the possibilities of squeezing a tiny system into a tiny case were almost limitless. What they all had in common though was the case being their primary function.
