Intel B360 Motherboard Review Collection
The Strix B360-G Gaming shares little if anything in design with its Z370 sibling. That may be due to the integrated USB 3.1 Gen2 support of the newer H370 and B360 chipsets, which no longer require the board to have a spot for an additional controller integrated circuit (IC), yet we’ve seen other manufacturers at least share circuit boards between various models and exclude built-in features via the transition.

MSI has a good track record for producing premium products at every price point, and I expect this B360 offering to be no different. The B360M-ITX/ac includes Wi-Fi capabilities, USB 3.1 (10 Gbps) Type-A ports, as well as a M.2 slot. Those who are looking for RGB LED support will also have to look elsewhere as the board does not have any integrated, nor headers on the board supporting it. Users will have to bring the bling from elsewhere.

I won’t hide I’m wasn’t expecting so much of BIOSTAR B360GT5S. It’s better motherboard that we could expect looking at the product itself. I guess all should read motherboard’s features and specification as we may miss something important. BIOSTAR described all well on the website and it’s really helpful for potential users.

Today we get an opportunity to look at two motherboards out of MSI’s B360 stable in the form of the B360 Gaming Plus and B360 Gaming Arctic. The two boards look dramatically different – with one black and red and the other white – however, under the hood they share the same DNA.

The ASRock Fatal1ty B360 Gaming K4 we’re looking at here, however, falls flat primarily because of pricing. For just $5 more, the ASRock Fatal1ty H370 Performance offers better connectivity and more PCIe bandwidth for graphics and speedy NVMe storage.

Thanks to Asus, we’ll be taking a quick look at their ROG Strix B360-F Gaming Motherboard. It utilizes the latest B360 chipset from Intel and supports all 8th gen Coffee Lake processors using the LGA1151 socket (unfortunately, it is not compatible with 6th/7th gen processors).

Intel’s B360 platform is much more affordable than the Z370 flagship, but what are you compromising on for that smaller price tag? Actually, for most users, not much.
