ASUS PRIME B450-PLUS

We have to say that the looks are much less impressive than we’re used to seeing from the Prime range, but already knowing how well the Strix B450-I performs, having tested it prior to the Prime, we’re curious as to whether these plainer aesthetics belie another excellent mid-range Prime model, or if there finally is a black mark against an otherwise solid range of products.

GIGABYTE B450 AORUS PRO

What we’re really looking for with the B450 Pro, priced at around £100, is a collection of board-improving technologies. The first of these is the integrated I/O shield – always a reviewer’s favourite – and though it’s plastic and sits directly on top of the dual VRM-cooling heatsinks, it’s still a nice touch.
