The Gigabyte Z690 Aero G offers very good USB connectivity, with many and varied connectors, as well as a DisplayPort input and an HDMI output for integrated graphics. In the networking section, it offers an excellent combo of an Intel I225V 2.5 GbE card and an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 with Bluetooth 5.2 , while the new Realtek ALC4080 7.1 takes care of sound , although it only offers line output and input from microphone for the same as well, as a digital optical output.

The Gigabyte Z690 AERO G maintains a good aesthetic level, but obviously it is not as forceful as it happens with the most powerful gaming models. In fact, it has been improved a lot compared to the Z590, as we see more presence of metallic elements such as the cover and heatsinks already in all the M.2 slots.

That is, the AERO G can be an optimal board for a gamer at any given time if you want a configuration with a single mid-range graphics card without reaching the flagship, or if you are not interested in overclocking, Gigabyte differentiates this model from others more ambitious in sections such as connectivity. Although we are not very clear if eliminating Thunderbolt 4 on this board is a consistent choice: many content creators benefit from advanced connectivity to use external devices such as monitors or storage units, for example.
