Asus ROG Strix B660-I Gaming WiFi is designed for gamers who want to build not so much a powerful as a compact PC and therefore are looking for a mini-ITX format solution. It is based on the budget chipset B660, but, however, this does not prevent it from working even with top-end Intel Core processors of the 12th generation. The board has 13 USB ports, including 1 fast USB 3.2 Gen2, as well as one of the fastest USB 3.2 Gen2×2 as a Type-C port on the back, plus 6 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. Slot for expansion cards, of course, only one, but PCIe 5.0 x16.

As we have already indicated, the B660 chipset does not allow overclocking processors, even non-K. Also, and even if the bios allows to indicate a ratio different from the original one, it is only applied on a single heart. We tested with our i6-12600K, on the P-Core side, the maximum ratio is 49. But whatever happens, the frequency is stuck at 4500 MHz for the P-Core and 3400 MHz for the E-Core.
