In terms of features, I have to say that the BIOSTAR Z690 VALKYRIE motherboard is no different from the A model that is DDR4. Both the motherboard, the power supply, the chipset and the M.2, and there are also beautiful RGB lights throughout the motherboard as well. including those connecting various channels that are designed to support a lot of work, including DIY, decorate more fully as well.

Finally came to the conclusion with a review of BIOSTAR Z690A VALKYRIE, the latest Z690 chipset motherboard that today I must say that the performance is excellent. Fully compatible with Intel Core i9 12900K CPU. Although the BIOS is not a perfect version, much. But it can do a good job with full support for all Intel 12th Gen CPUs in Alder Lake code. As you have seen in the test with a large CPU model, the top Core i9 12900K is overclocked at a speed of 5.1Ghz, All Core power is only 1.25-1.27v, bus RAM is 4600Mhz all the time.

That’s the full detail of the ROG STRIX Z690-E GAMING WIFI motherboard, which is considered a second-tier board, but it’s packed with a lot of essentials. If you look at the capabilities of the board itself, Pairing with the INTEL CORE i7 12700KF CPU is a fairly suitable match: the price level is 18,590 baht, which is about 10,000 baht more expensive than its predecessor. As for the overclocking capabilities, from a few days of trying and using at 5.0 GHz, I consider it stable, which is not sure how quickly the new bios can be pushed upwards. The new DDR5 memory comes with the expected early-adopter tax, and prices of memory modules range wildly mostly based on frequency. A single 16 GB DDR5-4800 module costs around $120, but overclocked modules, such as DDR5-5200 and DDR5-6000, or higher, could cost double or even triple that. Granted, these only cater to a niche crowd, but we’re curious to see just how much performance you “lose” by sticking to the DDR5-4800, which Intel considers baseline for the “Alder Lake” memory controllers.

This Asus TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4 will arrive in a rigid cardboard box with a vinyl-style finish and compact dimensions. ASRock’s product stack for DDR4 on Z690 is one of the largest of the ‘major’ vendors at launch, with a total of nine. This is more than ASRock’s DDR5 offering, surprisingly. Choice is a big factor here though with ASRock offering ATX, mATX, and mini-ITX models . The most premium of the DDR4 options is perhaps the ASRock Z690 Extreme WIFI 6E and Z690 Steel Legend WIFI 6E models with the latest Wi-Fi 6E CNVi, three PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2, and eight SATA ports.
