BIOSTAR RACING Z690 GTA – The FPS Review

The motherboard we are looking at today is the BIOSTAR Racing Z690 GTA (Z690GTA Ver. 5.0) Socket 1700 motherboard. It is a DDR4, LGA 1700 motherboard based on Intel’s Z690 chipset. Given the transitional nature of the chipset, you can get some motherboards with either DDR4 or DDR5 support. However, none of the boards we’ve seen that have variants supporting either memory technology do so at the same time, meaning you have to buy the version you want and you are stuck with it.

ASUS ROG STRIX B660-F GAMING WIFI – Overclockers Russia

A medium-sized box and a handle for transportation are not required here. The exterior design is very attractive. High-quality printing, thick cardboard, and all the information on the box is explanatory. There is nothing superfluous. The background is predominantly black on the front and back, and red on the two sidewalls, which corresponds to the style of ROG. They removed the pink insert, but this does not mean that cyberpunk is gone, just a little tired of it already and I want something more calm.

ASRock B660 Steel Legend – Tom’s Hardware

At $159.99, the B660 Steel Legend is priced right and comes with a feature set comparable to the competition, including multiple M.2 sockets, a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 port, and some bright RGB lighting. Performance was off in some heavily multi-threaded tests due to thermal throttling, but a simple voltage adjustment should mitigate this concern, as would running a lesser processor.

MSI MEG Z690 ACE – Overclockers Russia

The flagship motherboard should have a lot of modern interfaces. Not the fact that all of them will be useful to the user, but you need to match the status. And lovers of everything exclusive and expensive out of habit choose Intel. A new round of evolution, known as the LGA 1700, turned out to be strange. However, reasonable people realized that it is physically impossible to squeeze even more out of the 14 nm process technology. And the Intel platform was able to compete on equal terms with AMD Ryzen 5000 processors.
