Gigabyte has managed to make a pretty impressive motherboard for an even more impressive price. What really amazed me with the Aorus pro WiFi motherboard was just how many premium features there are in a $120 board, including some my $140 X470 board doesn’t even have!

The board features a fairly lowly 4+2 phase power delivery, and with fewer heatsinks than the B450 Aorus Pro, we’re likely looking at a board that will get pretty toasty with an overclocked eight-core Ryzen CPU – more on that later. The B360M-ITX/ac includes Wi-Fi capabilities, USB 3.1 (10 Gbps) Type-A ports, as well as a M.2 slot. Those who are looking for RGB LED support will also have to look elsewhere as the board does not have any integrated, nor headers on the board supporting it. Users will have to bring the bling from elsewhere.

The ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac is a high-end B450 mini-ITX motherboard, and there are not that many of them. ASRock added in a pre-driver to help with the HDMI 2.0 port, as well as WIFI so you can use the computer anywhere and included the high-end ALC1220 audio codec with full audio ports.

Under observation we have the GIGABYTE H370N WiFi – a Mini-ITX motherboard offering WiFi functionality via 802.11ac. This could be the ideal foundation for building a mini-powerhouse without having to spend the extra cash that Intel Z370 demands.

Today we’re looking at its successor, and the updated look of the ROG Strix X470-i Gaming is immediately apparent, with dark heatsinks rather than the shiny silver ones on the previous board, although a lot of that comes down to a snazzy fascia on the M.2 heatsink.
