The MSI MAG B560M Mortar WIFI is also worth praising for the competent layout of the elements (there is enough space for installing even a dimensional cooler of the Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black level ), a large number of USB of different versions on the rear panel and light indicators that notify the user about problems with starting ( CPU, DRAM, Boot and VGA). There are no hot buttons for turning on / restarting the PC on the board.

The B560 Mortar motherboard has an all-black PCB with a silver finish on the heatsink. The combination of the black PCB and the white PCB is a good color scheme. This motherboard fits in almost any aesthetic build scenario. The motherboard has no RGB elements for customizability. The lack of RGB hardware might keep the final build cleaner.

Having our first proper look at the board, we can see the heatsinks are of a light silvery colour while the PCB is black. This should still allow the B560M MORTAR WIFI to fit in with most build colour schemes with ease. We can also see at first glance this board should have most of the ports/headers/connections users will need to make the most out of the B560 chipset. We have dual M.2 slots, one of which is Gen4. We also have a few of each RGB and fan headers to make sure that we can keep our build as cool as possible, in both senses of the word ‘cool’.

There are some obvious features missing from using a B560 motherboard and a Micro-ATX variant at that, but this may not matter to many enthusiasts who are simply wanting to indulge in Intel’s Rocket Lake without having it hit their wallet hard. Some of the higher-end features are missing but we still get USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 and of course, PCIe 4.0 (provided we use an 11th Gen CPU) for storage and the expansion slots. One disappointing inclusion is the sheer number of USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, this feels stagnant and we would have really liked to see more USB 3.2 Gen 2 instead.
