MSI MPG B560I GAMING EDGE WIFI – GreenTech_Reviews

Building a compact yet high-performance gaming system is a headache for all enthusiasts. There are a lot of problems, because the space in the case is very limited – it is necessary not only to lay the cables correctly, but also to organize the cooling correctly. With the release of the Intel B560 chipset, the task is slightly simplified in the case of mini-ITX motherboards, although the functionality will also be available less rich, but sufficient for any gaming system. The MSI MPG B560I Gaming Edge WiFi motherboard allows you to use Core i9 flagships, overclock the RAM (not the processor), and also provide some design freedom in the form of RGB backlighting, although it itself is completely deprived of it.

MSI MAG Z590 TOMAHAWK WIFI – GreenTech_Reviews

MSI MAG Z590 Tomahawk WiFi is a mid-range motherboard in the familiar full-size ATX format. Unlike its predecessor based on the Intel Z490 chipset, we have a board with full PCIe 4.0 support (when using 11th generation processors, of course), a new power subsystem, an increased number of M.2 connectors, an updated sound subsystem and … And to many others – after all, there are incomparably more differences between these boards than common details. The essence lies in the requirements of the new processors – this is not only the implementation of PCIe 4.0, but also other components of the board, including the power subsystem.

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XIII EXTREME GLACIAL – HKEPC

ROG Maximus XIII Extreme Glacial water-cooled board is on the scene. The hardware specifications are exactly the same as those of Extreme. It also has the best peripheral functions and connectivity. It has also added the ROG Ultrablock full-covered water-cooling in cooperation with EKWB, which can simultaneously power the CPU and VRM. The PCH chip, 10G Ethernet chip, and M.2 SSD provide heat dissipation. The system can maintain low temperature operation even under high load. For players who like self-assembled water cooling and pursue the ultimate performance, this motherboard is absolutely impeccable.

MSI MAG B560 TOMAHAWK WIFI – Hardware-Inside

The MSI MAG B560 Tomahawk WIFI is currently available in stores at a price of around € 190. The B560 variant also supports PCIe 4.0 and it also has three M.2 connections. The other connection options are also impressive. Regarding the power supply, the temperatures could be lower, but it is more than sufficient. The only small point of criticism is the lack of a BIOS flash button. We give a clear recommendation.

MSI B550-A PRO – Hardware-Journal

A quick look under the cooler reveals the build-up of tension. Compared to its predecessor, the manufacturer uses two more virtual or one real phases. Another controller was necessary for this. The IR35201 used is often also used for higher-priced boards. The controlled phases, on the other hand, are of a simpler nature and were already used in the same structure with the B450 model. Each phase consists of 4C029N / 4C024N MOSFETs from ON Semiconductor with 46A. There are a total of 10 of them for the CPU and four for the SoC, whereby two of them are always bundled into one. IR3598 are used as a driver or doppler.

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XIII APEX – GreenTech_Reviews

Our heroine is strikingly different from the previous Maximus XII Apex – the design, set and location of certain interfaces, buttons and everything else have been changed. We can safely say that we have a completely new product in front of us, and not just a modified board. Yes, the processor socket has remained the same, but the new 11th generation processors themselves impose completely different requirements not only on the power supply of the board, but must also provide all the new functionality inherent in them.

GIGABYTE Z590 AORUS XTREME – GreenTech_Reviews

The motherboard is made on the basis of an 8-layer black PCB in the E-ATX format (30.5 x 27.1 cm), so it is not possible to install it in every “standard case”, taking into account the connectors going to the side (in particular, the 24-pin one). But this is not a problem, because the assembled system is unlikely to be compact – no one will save on the case anymore. This board, after all, belongs to the “maximum possible for enthusiasts” class, not under the table. The design is dominated by black and gray colors with mirrored elements.
