Thankfully a few of the manufacturers like MSI have Pro focused lines. This is especially important with X299, a platform that overall seems better focused on workstation builds. MSI has done something fantastic here that isn’t immediately obvious. This board is called the MSI X299 SLI PLUS. That name, as simple as it might seem, tells you exactly what this board is for. It’s built for SLI use, plus some minor overclocking. Plus U.2. Plus excellent audio. Plus a huge list of compatible memory. Plus this, plus that, the list goes on and on, but you get the point.
