The ROG Strix X299-E Gaming is an ATX motherboard with the sort of attitude you’d expect from gaming hardware. Although it doesn’t have quite as much “armor” as the Asus TUF models, or quite as many enthusiast features as the thoroughly tricked-out ROG Rampage boards, the X299-E Gaming is no lightweight.

GIGABYTE’s X299 AORUS Gaming 7 is GIGABYTE’s second most expensive X299 motherboard on the market, but it’s also $100 cheaper than their top of the line X299 AORUS Gaming 9.
