The trend of covering more and more of the PCB with add-on parts continues with the eighth generation of Crosshair. The cover of the I / O area has become a bit bulky, the chipset cooler and M.2 cooler merge into one larger cooling block. The silver strip, starting at the top left on the I / O cover and ending at the bottom right on the chipset cooler, is equipped with LEDs and can therefore be designed individually.

ASRock’s Steel Legend range has usually sat somewhere between the budget and enthusiast sectors, aiming to strike that, often difficult to find, balance between too few features and prohibitive pricing.
